Why Can't We Be Like Trees?

Trees don't complain; they don't explain. They don't fight amongst themselves, nor are they jealous. Trees don't worry about their location, environment, nutrition, or who their friends are. Age is of no consequence. Trees don't outlive their usefulness. The crepe myrtle doesn't tell the mighty oak, "I'm younger, stronger, and more beautiful than you." Each is content in their own ways to live their years without judging one another. Instead of taking, trees provide beauty, shelter, shade, and protection. Why do we sometimes feel that we've outgrown our usefulness? Why do we constantly yearn for something  unknown? Why can't we be like trees? A valuable lesson from trees: Grow Where You're Planted.
